Where is collection from?
The motorhome is stored within the grounds of our home on the outskirts of Saltburn by the Sea, confirmation of the address will be given once your booking has been confirmed.
What time is drop off and collection?
Drop off is 9.30am. Pick up after 12:00pm. We will accommodate where we can but we need to ensure we have time to prepare the vehicle for the next users. We may charge a late return fee of £50 an hour at our discretion.
Can you deliver the motorhome to me?
Yes local drops are available at request, charges may apply further afield. Collection is preferred and parking is available for your vehicle.
Do I need a special licence to drive the motorhome?
No, you can drive the motorhome on a normal full driving licence .
What paperwork identity do I need?
Photo driving license – we ask that you complete a DVLA check at www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence and provide us with the check code. Any limitations are listed on www.saltburnmotorhomehire.co.uk/terms-conditions
x2 utility bills from separate companies which are dated within 3 months.

Do you accept pets?
No, unfortunately we do not allow pets.
How much is the deposit?
We require a £100 deposit to secure you booking.
A £1000 (refundable) security deposit is also required 7 days prior to hire.
The balance is required 3 weeks prior to the hire or in full if less than 3 weeks to hire date.
Minimum hire of Motorhome is 3 nights low and mid season, 6 nights high season. You can hire our Motorhome for up to 30 days at a time. If you would like a 2 night hire, we can accommodate this but you will have to pay for 3 nights.
What do we provide in the motorhome?
We provide pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, tumblers, cooking implements and cleaning products. We ask that for the foreseeable due to COVID 19 you bring your own bed linen (sheets, duvet and pillows) the motorhome has 2 doubles and 2 single beds, towels and personal hygiene items.
What do I need to do when I return the motorhome?
Ensure the fuel level is as per day of collection and the vehicle is returned clean inside with the waste having been emptied. We will clean the outside. Additional charges may apply for extra cleaning.
What if I need to cancel my booking?
We require notice of at least 30 days and a full refund will be given. In the event the cancellation is outside this time the following will apply:
30-20 days prior to hire a 20% hire charge or booking deposit (which ever is greater)
20-10 days prior to hire a 30% hire charge
10-5 days prior to hire a 50% hire charge
5-0 days prior to hire a 85% hire charge
Where can I drive the motorhome?
Currently due to COVID 19 we are offering use in the UK with insurance and breakdown cover permitting. We will look to add European cover when the pandemic eases and movement resumes.
